Chris Masterson

Chris Masterson is Chairperson of Fajr Capital's Investment Committee and an independent director of Fajr Capital. He has over 40 years’ experience of working within the private equity industry. After working at 3i and Castleforth Fund Managers, he joined Montagu Private Equity in 1991 where he was appointed Chief Executive in 2000 and Chairman in 2010. In 2003, he led the management buyout of Montagu from HSBC. Mr Masterson retired from Montagu in 2024. He read Psychology at University College, London and has an MBA from Manchester Business School.
