Tamar Energy has been shortlisted in the prestigious Annual British Renewable Energy Awards.
The company is recognised in the Pioneer category for “A company or organisation in a sector not previously associated with renewables, which has now become involved and created a pathway that others can follow”.
Tamar Energy brings together UK and international blue chip partners and investors, including: Fajr Capital, RIT Capital Partners plc, Duchy of Cornwall, Lord Rothschild’s Family Interests, Sainsbury’s and Ludgate Environment Fund, amongst others.
The nomination showcases Tamar Energy’s role as the UK’s first renewable energy company with exclusive anaerobic digestion (AD) focus, moving the AD industry beyond its agricultural heritage or as an adjunct to waste businesses.
The Awards ceremony will be held on 13 June 2013 in London, United Kingdom. More details are available at www.r-e-a.net.
