Senior executives from Fajr Capital will be participating in a series of high profile economic development summits in Turkey during September.
Aamir Rehman, Managing Director of Fajr Capital Advisors, will be presenting his thoughts at the International Forum on Financial Systems (IFFS) during a keynote session on “Entrepreneurship, Private Equity and Venture Capital from Equity Based Financial System Perspective.”
Under the patronage of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, the IFFS will bring together world-renowned economists, statesmen, policy-makers and industry practitioners in Istanbul to explore the potential avenues for building a more just, inclusive and stable financial system for future generations.
Professor Savaş Alpay, Director General of the OIC’s Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), said: “The International Forum on Financial Systems will help stimulate new ideas to build a financial system that benefits both the productive economy and grassroots communities. Fajr Capital is playing a leading role in the development of Islamic financial services industry and socially responsible investment across the OIC region, and we look forward to the institution contributing towards the success of the Forum.”
Futhermore, Fajr Capital’s Managing Director Asad Zafar will be speaking at the Turkish Arab Capital Markets Forum in Istanbul, which will be attended by several prominent dignitaries including H.E Ali Babacan, the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey, and H.E. Mehmet Şimşek, Turkey’s Minister of Finance.
Mr Zafar will also be joining Mark Lemmon, CEO of MENA Infrastructure, at Private Equity International’s Turkey Forum to highlight the importance of private equity investment in Turkey and the wider OIC region.
